Maestri all’Organo
International Organ Music Festival
2nd Edition – Rome 2024
Under the auspices of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music
M° Josep Solé Coll, First Organist of the Papal Basilica of St. Peter, at the Vatican and Organist for the Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff, has been appointed as the Festival Art Director.
Alessandro Biciocchi, General Secretary of the Cardinal Bartolucci Foundation
I am grateful to the Bartolucci Foundation for this prestigious appointment. Every year in June, we will host world-renowned organists, as well as instructors and students of musical academic institutions. In this way we will remember the distinguished composer and his organ work, still little known by the public and performers.
The 2024 Edition will take place entirely at the Academic Hall of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome, in Piazza Sant’Agostino, with its fabulous Mascioni Organ (Opus 568 – 1934) and will feature four concerts by seven organists from Italy, Spain and Argentina.
